The Department of Public administration is as old as the MVS College itself. Is originated in 1965 along with the college as a constituent part it.
            The Department was started with three groups i.e., B.A. EPP (Economics, Political Science, Public Administration) E/M, B.A EPP T/M, B.A EPP U/M  & B.A PPE (Political Science, Public Administration, English Literature) E/M. The Department has three sanctioned posts. Currently the department has 2 Regular Lecturers is as follows.

Lecturer and Head of the Department

 She joined as Degree Lecturer in M.V.S., Govt. Degree College on 09-01-2013 before that she worked as Junior Assistant in NG College, Nalgonda from 2001 to 2004, from 2008 to 2012 worked as Junior Assistant at GDC Ramannapet, Nalgonda District and from October 2012 to January 2013 worked as Junior Lecturer in Civics at Govt. Junior College Alladurg Medak District. She was attended 2 International 3 National Seminars and presented 4 papers and 2 papers are in the process by publication. Her research work is under progress. She is served as counselor for PGRRCDE.

He has joined as Degree Lecturer in M.V.S., Govt. Degree College on 21-05-2013 before that he worked as Junior Inspector in Cooperative Department at Hyderabad from 22-11-2002 to 24-07-2008 and worked as Junior Lecturer at Govt. Junior College, Devarakonda, Nalgonda District from 25-07-2008 to 20-05-2013. He was attended 2 International and 2 National Seminars and his research work is under progress.
