Mvs Govt. Arts & Science College Library was established in year of 1965. It is located at Christian Pally, Mahabubnagar. In this college Library at present the total collection was 37654 books and other reading material.
Sri. K.Kodandapani Lecturer in Library Science has taken the charge from Dated 16.06.2011.The Library has Equipped with sufficient furniture and other suitable facilities like reading room, Inflibnet, Photo copying machine Etc.

The Library is subscribing Twelve Journals, 13 Monthly Magazines,   12 News Papers and other Reading Journals.

This college library is providing the following services through the separate sections:

4. Reading/periodical section.
5. INFLIBNET,N-List on line facility
6. Photo copying facility.
a) Reference and text books kept under open access (visible) to take out the required books Easily.
b) Books are arranged according to subject and access no According to access numbers.
c) Ledger system is following in circulation section.
d) Books lending period is two weeks.  It can be renewed for one more week.
e) Journals and magazines are kept on the display rack in the reading room.
f) Clippings are arranged for the information of the students.
g) Automation of library activities are under progress .

Book Bank Facility
There is a book bank in the library
Book bank stock is kept separately
Its books are issued to SC and ST students only.
A special issue register is monitoring to issue the books.
Total No. of books under Book Bank. 3000 and above.

Reading room:-
A big reading room is available at the library.  It is kept open on all working hours from 9.am to 6.00pm.  All the important daily news papers of different language covering the regional and national news are available.  Periodicals like journals, magazines and other general knowledge material are kept for the purpose of staff and students, to make use of their leisure hours.
